Powering the Suzuki Avenis is a single-cylinder, fuel-injected, 124cc, air-cooled engine, which works in conjunction with a CVT transmission. The motor is capable of producing 8.7PS and 10Nm. Suspension is handled by a telescopic fork up front and swingarm-mounted dual rear shock absorbers. Braking is taken care of via a front disc and a drum unit at the rear, with CBS coming as a standard feature. It rolls on 12 inch front and 10 inch rear alloy wheels, which are wrapped in 90-section tubeless tyres. The scooter weighs 106kg (kerb) and has a 160mm ground clearance, along with 780mm seat height. The fuel tank capacity on the Avenis stands at 5.2 litres.
Suzuki Avenis Variants
Suzuki Avenis is offered in two variants by the company: standard Avenis and Avenis Race Edition. The standard variant of this scooter comes in four colours (Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey/Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange/Glass Sparkle BlackPear Mirage White/Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey & Metallic Matte Black/Glass Sparkle Black). The flagship Avenis Race Edition, however, comes in a standard paint scheme, which is called Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue. Apart from the colour schemes, and connectivity in the Base version, the rest of the scooter is the same across both variants.

Suzuki Avenis Design
The Avenis gets a sporty-looking bodywork, featuring a sleek apron-mounted LED headlight, handlebar cowl-integrated turn-indicators, along with fly screen, creased, dual tone side panels and split LED tail-lights. The scooter comes with colour-coded split pillion grab-rails on some colour variants. The Race Edition of this scooter gets a sporty Suzuki MotoGP-themed livery with Suzuki branding on its side panels. The exhaust unit on it looks similar to the one found on Suzuki Burgman Street. Overall, the design of Suzuki Avenis is quite reminiscent of the TVS NTorq 125.
Suzuki Avenis Features
The Suzuki Avenis boasts a fully-digital LCD instrument console, which gets Bluetooth connectivity through a smartphone, which enables turn-by-turn navigation, Call/SMS alerts and phone’s battery level. The console also displays an overspeed alert, including a distance indicator, among others. The Avenis comes with an apron-mounted cubby hole, along with an integrated USB-charging port. It has a decent 21.8 litre underseat storage, an external fuel filler cap, two utility hooks (one on the apron and one below the seat), side-stand engine stop function and a silent engine starter, along with a kill switch on the switchgear.
Suzuki Avenis Competitors
The Suzuki Avenis competes with the likes of the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia 125, Aprilia SR 125 and the Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid. Other alternatives that you can consider buying in a similar price range include the TVS Raider 125, Honda Shine, and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
